We often face “mountains” in front of us – challenges that require our willingness to step out of our comfort zone, — try something new, persevere, and conquer. We know that when we push ourselves we are growing."

I founded PeaksandPoses in 2014 to join two of my passions: yoga and hiking. PeaksandPoses offers a variety of events that integrate yoga philosophy, principles of Ayurveda, mind-body awareness, and a deeper connection with oneself, others, and life in the outdoors.

Being in nature is a theme that has woven itself throughout my life. It started when I was 8 years old and attended a girl scout sleep-away camp on Long Island. I couldn't wait to return the following summer to sleep in a tent, make a fire to cook on, and just simply be outside. As a teenager, I explored many of our National Parks and never got enough of their beauty. In my adulthood, I continued to camp with my two children and discovered backpacking, hiking, foraging, snowshoeing and so many people to connect with out there. Being outside has always brought me back home with feelings of peace, serenity, and gratitude.

I am a big sharer and I always want people to experience what I am experiencing which led to the creation of PeaksandPoses. My company continues to grow and evolve as I continue to evolve and grow! The outdoors is a huge place and "we should never stop exploring."

My monthly Living in Rhythm membership is a program that draws from the principles of Ayurveda, one of the world's oldest whole-body healing systems with a boatload of self-care tools and strategies. Each month a health and wellness professional also joins our group to share their expertise. Through this supportive program, you develop deeper integrity with yourself and learn how to design your life with greater ease and balance as you develop healthier eating habits, better sleep, and other self-care practices.

Peaksandposes offers so much more such as: guided day and overnight hikes. seasonal cooking classes, weekend and weekly retreats, snowshoe hikes/retreats, online yoga classes, and more.  Check the Events page for current and upcoming happenings.
