I founded PeaksandPoses to join two of my passions: yoga and hiking. PeaksandPoses offers a variety of Trail Yoga events that integrate yoga poses, mind-body awareness, and a connection with oneself and others surrounded by the beauty of New England and beyond.
Living in balance is a theme that has run throughout my life. Whether I was summiting a mountain top, watching a waterfall or just breathing in fresh air, I have found peace and serenity in the great outdoors. My love of our land has led me through the changing seasons of New England, hiking, backpacking, snow shoeing, and camping.
PeaksandPoses continues to grow and evolve as I continue to expand and develop my passion for living in balance with nature through my exploration of Ayurveda and yoga.
PeaksandPoses now offers POWER UP, a year-long habit-changing program based on the principles of Ayurveda and yoga wisdom. Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest whole-body healing systems, based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. In this program, you develop a deeper integrity with yourself and learn how to design your life with greater ease, healthier eating habits, better sleep and a toolbox of self care practices.
Seasonal cooking classes are sprouting up too as I learn about the positive health impact eating seasonally and plant based has on our overall health.
