About the Event
This is a series of 4 hands-on (yes, you will be a participant) plant-based cooking workshops followed by a short walk in the woods to Lake Maspenock. You'll learn some of the benefits of plant-based and seasonal eating. Through our cooking, we'll align certain foods with the season which brings greater health, balance, and nourishment into your diet. Spring is also a beautiful time to honor earth's waters and a lovely way to end your day.

Each week will have a different theme. It's a make-and-take evening, so you will take food home and recipes to share.
Week 1 ~ Spice up your life! We'll be making an Ayurveda spice mix that will bring pizazz to your future meals.
Week 2 ~ Know your seeds! Did you know there there are so many seeds to add to your meals that add additional protein, texture, and variety to your meals? We'll dabble with a few of them.
Week 3~ It's still soup time! We'll chop veggies for a delicious spring soup to bring balance into your body and some warmth into spring. We'll also make our own roasted chickpeas and leave with several recipes to add more flavor to your meals.
Week 4 ~ Think Green! As our land continues to thaw out from winter, greens are starting to spring up. We'll dive into various greens and cook some up. We'll still be keeping it warm as New England's spring can still have a chill to the air.
The price of $209 includes recipes, all ingredients, and nights of fun and learning.
