About the Event
This is a series of three whole foods/plant focused workshops (3 consecutive Mondays starting on June 8th). Full details of the 3 workshops are listed on Eventbrite. Each workshop will cover an array of action steps such as: pantry clean up, food prep, mindful eating, diversification of food, seasonal eating, cooking with spices, and the myth of protein. Each week there will be a live cooking demonstraion and recipes will be provided.
We have the ability to fuel our body and live a life free of disease with a greater understanding of a plant focused diet. We don’t have to give up animal products but by adding more nutrient dense plants, legumes, beans, grains, nuts, seeds and fruits, we can keep our gut healthier, our mind clearer and align more with nature and our planet's resources. Medical research is showing how a plant focused diet can reduce the risk of many chronic diseases.
